The database server, hobbes, suffered a kernel panic which caused its networking to be in an unstable state.
WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Any user attempting to access https://help.cc.gatech.edu during the outage window.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.
HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes, TSO quickly identified the problem and rebooted the database server. This restored the database server's networking configuration. The site was operational once again by 8:58 AM.
