On Thursday, July 17, 2008, at 5:00 PM, TSO will begin turning off the DNS secondary service on a number of servers, listed below. This is being done in response to the CERT Security Alert of July 8, 2008, regarding DNS cache poisoning (see http://www.us-cert.gov/cas/techalerts/TA08-190B.html for details). This is expected to be completed by 6:30 PM on July 17. No users should be affected unless they are pointed to these hosts for DNS services. Any services which are pointed to these hosts should instead be pointed to solaria.cc.gatech.edu (130.207.7.245) and/or zeon.cc.gatech.edu (130.207.9.13).
