Between 4:00 PM, Monday, January 27, and 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 2, 2014.


WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
Following the shuttles OS upgrade (see http://support.cc.gatech.edu/alerts/partial-shuttle-cluster-reload for details), a firewall setting did not get updated, resulting in the outage for off-campus users.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Users attempting to connect to the shuttles cluster during this outage from off-campus.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes.  The configuration was updated and the shuttles were again available off-campus as of 2:00 PM, February 2.
