WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
TSO will conduct routine systems patching, scheduled to avoid critical research and academic deadlines and the upcoming network maintenance work by OIT.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users trying to interact with the RT Ticketing System.
Users backing up or restoring data with the CoC CrashPlan servers.
All resources mounted from ccsamba.cc.gatech.edu.
Users sending mail to Mailman lists or attempting to access the mailman.cc.gatech.edu web interface.
All static www.cc.gatech.edu content.
All personal CoC webpages (~ pages).
Systems with /net/www mounts.
CoC faculty and grad students whose home directories reside on the filesystems listed below.

Users of the following filesystems:

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Affected users should save their work prior to the maintenance period and be prepared for service interruption during the maintenance window.
Any manual backup or restore jobs with the CrashPlan servers that have not finished before the maintenance will need to be restarted after the maintenance period.
Users should avoid sending mail to Mailman mailing lists during the maintenance period.  Mail sent to mailman lists during the maintenance period may not be queued and will need to be resent.
