Beginning at 9:00 PM, Friday, March 11, 2011.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Electrical maintenance has been scheduled to replace the main emergency power breaker for the TSRB building. To accommodate the work, TSO will begin shutting down affected servers in the TSRB MDF Data Center at 9:00 PM on March 11. The servers will be powered back up at 8:00 AM, March 12.

Users of the services listed below.

Affected services:
network access to and from all servers and desktops in TSRB, including ssh access
PHP/MySQL service on http://www-dev.research.cc.gatech.edu/
SVN service on http://svn.research.cc.gatech.edu/
TRAC service on http://trac.research.cc.gatech.edu/


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Users of the affected systems should save their work prior to the maintenance period. Users who work in TSRB should power off their desktops prior to leaving for the weekend.
