WHAT HAPPENED?
The College of Computing's virtual machine infrastructure experienced a brief outage.
Affected servers:
All virtual machines hosted on the College of Computing's infrastructure.
WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
The issue began at 11:08 AM on August 27th and was successfully resolved by 11:20 AM.
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
A temporary network loop was established, resulting in an interruption of communication with the virtual machine infrastructure.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
All personnel, including staff, faculty, and students, who engage with any of the virtual machines hosted on the infrastructure of the College of Computing.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Currently, TSO is restoring the affected services and servers. No further action is required from users at this time.
