Since the switch to the new CoC VPN hardware, TSO has been working with OIT to remove the need for on-campus wireless users to login to both LAWN and the CoC VPN. OIT have made changes to their firewall to allow users to bypass the LAWN login page and login directly to the new VPN. At 4:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2009, TSO will reconfigure the VPN to take advantage of this change. This may affect CoC faculty and staff who are using or attempting to use the VPN during this maintenance period, which is expected to be complete by 4:30 PM, April 17. Users will not need to make any changes to their VPN client software to accommodate this change.
