WHAT'S HAPPENING?
Wired internet in the College of Computing was down, including CCB, KACB, and TSRB.

WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
TSO became aware of the issue at approximately 11:40 AM on Friday, October 25, 2019. Wired networking was restored around 12:30pm. TSO was able to restore connectivity to services that did not gracefully recover from the outage as we became aware of them.

WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
The router in KACB and the router in CCB had issues connecting to one another, causing wired networks associated with the College of Computing to lose connectivity. TSO is looking into the root cause of the issue.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Any user attempting to use wired internet on the College network.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Users may need to disconnect and reconnect their ethernet cable if connectivity has not restored automatically. If you believe a service or machine is still experiencing issues following the outage, please contact the Help Desk.

HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes, TSO restarted the two routers and wired connectivity was restored.

WHO SHOULD YOU CONTACT FOR QUESTIONS?
Feel free to contact the TSO Help Desk (CCB 148, 404.894.7065, helpdesk@cc.gatech.edu).
