Create a new event/meeting request in Mac OSX Calendar

  1. Click on New Event from the File menu. 
  2. Enter in the Name, Time and Date for the meeting. 
  3. Click on Add Invitees and type in their name or email address. If they are in the GAL you can see their free/busy schedule by pressing the Available Meeting Times link below Add Invitees
  4. Click on Send to finish scheduling the event.
