WHAT’S HAPPENING?
Schneider Electric (APC) will be replacing an old UPS system located in the TSO data center located in KACB 2219.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Saturday, February 25th from 7:30am-8pm

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The UPS being replaced is 13 years old and provides backup power for the College's servers located in KACB 2219.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
TSO will use building power to keep the servers in KACB 2219 up during the maintenance window. The affected servers listed below will be shutdown briefly at the beginning of the maintenance window as their single power supplies are moved from UPS to building power, then again at the end of the maintenance window. TSO is currently migrating all VMs on equipment located in KACB to the CCB Data Center.

Affected servers:
holder - home directory server for Faculty
lincoln - adminfs share server
transporter - DNS and YP server

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Faculty utilizing ccsamba and Staff utilizing adminfs should save work regularly during this window to minimize impact when holder and lincoln are taken offline. No other user action is required.
