WHAT’S HAPPENING?
The College of Computing Website (https://www.cc.gatech.edu/), faculty websites (https://faculty.cc.gatech.edu/) and class websites (https://classes.cc.gatech.edu/) are offline.
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
The above sites went offline at approximately 3pm, Tuesday, January 14th. Service was restored at 5:36pm and TSO been monitoring to ensure sites remained active.
Update: College sites did not fully recover and went offline again at approximately 7pm. Full service was restored at 8:41pm for the College website, and 9pm for faculty and class sites.
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The issue is being investigated, but appears related to an internal College DNS server going offline.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users attempting to access the CoC website, faculty websites, or class websites.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required at this time. TSO will update this notice when the issue is resolved.
