Printing in Coda is done via Direct-IP printing, and is separate from the mopier printing system (hollister) in CCB, KACB, and TSRB. Please use the IP addresses below and the directions provided to connect to the necessary mopiers. If you encounter any issues, please contact the TSO Help Desk for assistance.

Windows

  1. Download the Toshiba E-Bridge Universal Driver.
  2. Go to the downloaded .zip file and extract the contents.
  3. Go to Control Panel and select Devices and Printers, then Add a Printer.
  4. Select “The printer that I want isn’t listed” 
  5. Select “Add a printer using TCP/IP address or hostname” and press Next.
  6. Enter the IP Address above, press Next.
  7. On the Install printer driver dialogue, press Have Disk and navigate to the UNI -> Driver -> 64bit folder where the driver contents were extracted. There will be an eSf6u.inf file. Select it and press Open and then Next.
  8. The copier name can be whatever you prefer.

 

Mac

  1. Download the Toshiba Color MFP Driver for Macs
  2. Run the .dmg and Select Continue to proceed through the License agreement.
  3. Select Install.
  4. In "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners" > click "Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax..."
  5. In the top of the "Add Printer" window, click on the second icon.
  6. Enter the IP address of the copier above and you will see its information appear below.
  7. Change the "Protocol" drop-down menu to "HP JetDirect - Socket."
  8. You can change the "Name" field to denote location, if desired.
  9. Choose "Auto-Select" in the "Use" drop-down menu for the driver.  This should find the correct driver (TOSHIBA ColorMFP-S2).
  10. Click "Add" to complete.

 

Linux

  1. Download the e-Bridge Print Driver for Linux
  2. Unzip the driver package to your preferred location and then use the following command to copy the needed archives to root: 

    1. sudo cp <DRIVER_DIR>/LinuxFilter/Usa/linux.tar <DRIVER_DIR>/CUPS/Usa/normal/TOSHIBA_ColorMFP_CUPS.tar / 

  3. Extract the archive from root to “install” the packages with the following commands: 

    1. cd / 

    2. sudo tar xvf linux.tar 

    3. sudo tar xvf TOSHIBA_ColorMFP_CUPS.tar 

  4. Install the printer description and create the queue (you can use any name you’d like) using the following commands: 

    1. sudo estcoloradd <QUEUE_NAME> <PRINTER_DNS_NAME/IP> 

    2. sudo systemctl restart cups 

  5. Setup the PPD files using the following commands: 

    1. cd /usr/share/cups/model/Toshiba/ 

    2. sudo gunzip TOSHIBA_ColorMFP_CUPS.gz 

    3. sudo mv TOSHIBA_ColorMFP_CUPS TOSHIBA_ColorMFP_CUPS.ppd 

  6. Install the printer with the GUI printer utility for your distribution.  

  7. You may have to manually add a network printer matching the DNS name/IP address and queue name from step 4.  

  8. If you have multiple options for a printer at the same IP address choose “TOSHIBA-ColorMFP”. 

  9. You may also have to manually choose the PPD located in “/usr/share/cups/model/Toshiba/”.
