WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The cc.gatech.edu website is being redesigned and updated from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 to prepare for Drupal 7's upcoming end-of-life date.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of the affected websites, both visitors and editors, will not be able to access the website during the maintenance period.
There will be an editing freeze for content editors from Wednesday, August 18 at 5pm to Thursday, August 19 at 7pm.

Users of cc.gatech.edu should save their work and log off prior to the maintenance period.
