Through a Techfee grant, TSO has upgraded the BAIRD cluster to 20, Supermicro desktops, Intel Xeon X3430 (4-core) CPUs, 16GB RAM, 120GB solid state drives (SSD), nVidia GTX550 TI graphics cards and 24" LCD monitors.  The desktops are dual-booted with Windows 7 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3 operating systems.  The BAIRD cluster is located in CCB 103 and is available to all CoC faculty and students, as well as any student enrolled in a CS course.   Use your GT credentials to access the cluster.    

In related news, the Digital Media and Gaming Lab has been relocated from CCB 107 to CCB 103.  The DMGL Lab and BAIRD Lab now share the same room.
