Chad Huneycutt was recently promoted to Research Technologist II and will be assuming a new joint position and role within TSO and the Center for Experimental Research in Computer Systems (CERCS) where his expertise in complex systems technology will be instrumental. Chad joins Brian Poole (GVU Center) as the second jointly positioned Research Technologist in TSO and CoC Research Centers and will provide a much needed bridge between baseline and specialized research technology services. Chad has been employed with TSO and CoC for over three years and has contributed in many important areas including large-scale Linux deployment for research group desktops and servers, high performance computing resource development as well as research collaboration services (wiki, SVN, etc.).
