As reported at [link removed] some users of Excel 2008 are experiencing errors saving .xls files to network locations using Excel 2008. The TSO Help Desk has seen this error on one of the CC machines running Excel 2008. Saving files in .xlsx rather than .xls was reported as working and worked in our case. Microsoft is aware of the issue and is investigating.
