Hi everyone,

As you probably have heard, Georgia Tech will be transitioning to a new campus email service later this year.  In January 2014, GT IT governance bodies approved the selection of Office 365 cloud services to address the challenge of modernizing and unifying disparate email, contact and calendaring systems on campus. In April 2014, OIT kicked off a project to transition the entire campus to Office 365 by the end of this calendar year.  OIT is collaborating with campus units for input and feedback; and, TSO is actively participating on the committees to ensure our College a smooth transition.

We presented this information to the Dean’s Cabinet and were asked to schedule the College’s transition after the submission of final grades. Beginning at 6:00pm on Tuesday, December 16th through 8:00am on Wednesday, December 17th, the College will be migrated to Office 365.  TSO will be available to assist with reconfiguring your devices in person and/or via phone and instant messaging.

Please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions page for the latest information.  We will send periodic updates as the project progresses.  If you have questions, feel free to contact me or the TSO Help Desk (CCB 148, 404.894.7065, helpdesk@cc).

Thanks!
