WHAT'S HAPPENING?
MyGaTech/Zimbra email, calendars, and contacts will be unavailable.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Saturday, October 15, 2011, from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
OIT will upgrade Zimbra to the latest version.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of MyGaTech/Zimbra services, including BuzzPort users, will be unable to access their MyGaTech/Zimbra email, calendars, or contacts during this time period. People who send email to users of MyGaTech/Zimbra may receive a mail delivery delayed message.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
For non-Outlook users, no user action is required. Email sent to My GaTech/Zimbra users during the period of this outage will be queued in the central systems and delivered after the system is in operation again. Outlook users on Zimbra will need to download the latest version of the Zimbra Connector for Outlook (ZCO 7.1.3) in order to take advantage of the new features, available on the OIT Software Distribution site (http://software.oit.gatech.edu).
