WHAT'S HAPPENING?
MyGaTech, Passort, and the campus Kerberos master will undergo maintenance.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
MyGaTech: Saturday,March 20, 2010, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Passport and Kerberos: Saturday, March 20, 2010, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
OIT will perform routine maintenance on MyGaTech, adding functionality to Passport that enables integration with Parent Portal account setup, and performing routine patching of the Kerberos system.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of MyGaTech/Zimbra services, including BuzzPort users, who try to access email or group/course calendars. People who send email to users of MyGaTech/Zimbra may receive a mail delivery delayed message during this maintenance. Users will be unable to activate GT accounts or change passwords for managed guest accounts.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
GT guest passwords that will expire during the maintenance period should be changed beforehand.
