WHAT'S HAPPENING?
MyGaTech/Zimbra and Sympa will undergo maintenance.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
MyGaTech: Saturday, September 18, 2010, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

Sympa: Saturday, September 18, 2010, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
OIT will perform routine maintenance on MyGaTech and will change the authentication of Sympa from the whitepages to GTED, making the Sympa system more robust and available.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of MyGaTech/Zimbra services, including BuzzPort users, who try to access email or group/course calendars. People who send email to users of MyGaTech/Zimbra may receive a mail delivery delayed message during this maintenance. Users attempting to login to Sympa. Email sent to Sympa lists will be delayed during the maintenance.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required. Email sent to My GaTech/Zimbra users and Sympa during the period of this outage will be queued in the central systems and delivered after the systems are in operation again.
