In November 2012, the Office of the Provost identified one-time (nonrecurring) funds to refresh existing and outdated instructional laboratory equipment on campus.  TSO submitted three, prioritized proposals to refresh CoC's oldest instructional lab equipment (see below):

  • Information Security Lab ($29,300 to replace desktops and monitors)
  • JAZZ HPC Storage Cluster  ($120,393 to replace existing storage servers)
  • Networking Lab ($40,439 to replace network routers and workstations)

The Information Security Lab and JAZZ HPC Storage Cluster were funded and are expected to be updated Summer 2013.
