Update: It is CoC and Campus policy for KACB that only people on the Campus ADA List (American Disabilities Act) have proximity card access to KACB.
The new proximity readers for CCB have not been integrated into the door controller system yet. We don't have a date yet for when the integration will be completed.

BuzzCard proximity readers have been installed at entrances to common areas in CCB. NOTE: These readers are PROXIMITY readers and require the use of PROXIMITY cards available at the Buzz Card Center. Such readers will also be installed for common areas in KACB.

Proximity cards are not issued by default. If you take your magnetic stripe buzzcard to the BuzzCard center, they will swap it out for a proximity BuzzCard at no charge. If you do not bring your BuzzCard, you will be charged a replacement fee. The proximity BuzzCards have a proximity reader & magnetic stripe and will work on BOTH the proximity only and magnetic stripe BuzzCard readers.
