Thepresence of individuals sleeping around Klaus in common areas and conferencerooms, especially in the early mornings, has initiated some concerns from asecurity and liability standpoint. Todecrease opportunities for trespassers who take advantageof access to the building, we respectfully request that individuals NOTENGAGE IN SLEEP ACTVITY in open common areas and conferencerooms. While it is recognized that intense or extended study may resultin napping/dosing, the intentional use of Klaus spaceand furniture to lie down, the use of pillows and blankets, sleeping bags,etc., and other similar sleep-related activity is PROHIBITED.Campus Police and Security guards will BEGIN the practice ofmaking rounds through the building to enforce the restriction of such behavior.

To report this situation in the early morning or latenight, call the GT Police Department at 4-2500, asthey are aware of this problem.
