OIT has announced that T-Square was unavailable between 9:30 AM and 11:35 AM, Wednesday, August 19, 2009. This would have affected users of the system. For further details, please see the announcement below.

WHO WAS AFFECTED BY THIS INTERRUPTION?

All users of the T-Square system were affected by this outage. The basic effect was that the service was unavailable for use.

WHAT HAPPENED?

At about 9:00am today, August 19th, some corrupted data was detected in T-Square's database. The service was brought down shortly after that to prevent further problems, and a data recovery process was begun.

HOW LONG WAS THE SYSTEM DOWN?

The service was taken down at about 9:30am to prevent further problems with the database. It was recovered and the service available again at about 11:35am.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO NOW THAT THE SYSTEM IS AVAILABLE AGAIN?

Business as usual. No other procedures should need to be done; however, please contact OIT if any data is missing or corrupt.
