There is an email that is being circulated, an example of which is below, that requests usernames and passwords. This is not a legitimate email from OIT. If you receive this email, do not respond. You may safely delete it. Neither OIT nor TSO will ever ask for your password in an email.

Update: OIT has requested that if you receive one of these messages, to please forward it as an attachment to is-spam@gatech.edu. By doing this, OIT then has all of the needed details when following up on the issue. It also gets sent to their AVAS vendor early in the process, so that they can start raising the spam score of that particular spam, increasing the likelihood that these messages will go to the junk folder instead of the inbox.
