WHAT'S HAPPENING?
There are emails that are being circulated, an example of which is below. These emails are not from TSO or OIT and are a phishing attempt.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
If you receive an email like this, do not click on any links or attachments or reply to the sender. If you have received a similar email, or if you ever receive an email that you find suspicious, forward it immediately to phishing@gatech.edu

You can identify phishing emails. Here are some common attributes:
•    Frequently contain poor grammar, unusual wording, or a false implication of emergency.
•    Sometimes they will use a legitimate-looking email address.
•    Possible mismatch between the name and the email address in the From field.
•    May direct users to what appears to be the Georgia Tech Single Sign-On (SSO) page.
•    Possibly contain GT logos or attachments of various types.

If you have entered your GT login information into any site that may be illegitimate you must change for password immediately via passport.gatech.edu

If you ever believe that your Georgia Tech accounts may have been compromised, contact OIT’s Security Operations Center immediately at soc@gatech.edu
