TSO is responsible for the overall computing, networking and physical infrastructure, as well as technical and building support necessary to sustain the College's programs in research, instruction and administration for faculty, staff and students. The organization is directed by Uwanna Smith. Services are focused into groups: Enterprise Systems Support (Help Desk, Web Services), Research Program Support, Instruction Support, and Infrastructure. System Notices

Retiring the old email infrastructure and decommissioning its hardware.
TSO will be performing maintenance on several VMs that host the college RT systems to resolve a security vulnerability.
TSO will patch the production Linux servers and VM hosts, as well as the web database servers.
The OIT Network Team will be performing a series of gateway router, border firewall, and ISP connection upgrades and migrations.
Support.cc.gatech.edu will be re-launched on a new server and upgraded to Drupal 10 and the current GT theme.
