With the departure of Mike Luttrell as TSO?s Interim Director, the College plans to launch a search for a new and permanent TSO Director at the end of the year. Effective Oct. 1st, Randy Carpenter and Uwanna Smith will serve as Interim Co-directors of TSO until a new Director is named. Randy will direct the Operations group (Network, Critical Servers and Information Security) and continue to direct the Research Program Support group. Uwanna will direct the Facilities group (CCB, KACB and TSRB building support) and continue to direct the Enterprise Systems Support group (Web, Instruction and Help Desk services). In their roles as co-directors, Randy and Uwanna will report directly to the Dean. Ron Arkin, Associate Dean for Research & Space Planning, and Charles Isbell, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, will act as points of contacts on the Dean's behalf.
